Helping you make the most of your time in front of the camera.
Being relaxed and confident is the key to making the most of your time in front of the camera…. of course, but it’s much easier said than done!
1. Choose the right clothes
To keep it simple, wear what you might wear if meeting a client or attending a professional meeting or job interview. Stay true to yourself and your brand. Incorporate subtle branding colors if it is appropriate. Select an outfit that makes you feel relaxed and confident Otherwise, use colors that compliment your eye color, skin tone and hair color.
2. “Take a deep Breathe”
We don’t want you to feel rushed so Plan time before your shoot to clear your head of anything that will distract you from your session, Don’t rush straight into the photo session from a difficult meeting. Take your time. Look in the mirror, brush your hair, check your makeup, make sure your tie is straight…. make sure you’re happy with the way you look.
3. Get some shut eye!
Getting enough sleep will ensure there are no harsh bags under the eyes and the overall skin will look healthier. Make sure to drink enough water before you’re shoot, it will keep your skin looking nice and healthy.
4. No Fake smiles!
Having photographed many over the years, I know a fake smile when I see one – and so will your clients. So take time to practice your genuine smile,Maybe even tell Alexa to play your favorite comedian while you are practicing your Smile. Use this to your advantage and see how beautiful your smile is. The more trained your smile muscles are, the quicker they act on demand.
